A sleek restaurant site template that uses the MooTools JavaScript library. The homepage has a slideshow that cycles through your ads (as many as you have). There is also a nice dynamic JavaScript menu along the bottom. Everything is customizable and simple to use. In the template I have provided the homepage, all of the food menus, and a gift card page. There are pages already made for your food menus (breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, etc.). There is also a page made for gift cards. If you need help customizing this, let me know. Update (Mar 22, 2011) Fixed IE8 menu bug. Users now see an image on the homepage even if JavaScript is disabled.... READ MORE

I’m no Photoshop expert, but I’ll tell you what I would do. If your version of Photoshop has the slice tool (I don’t think elements does), you can use that tool to select the area you want to slice, and then double click on the box you made to change the dimensions. Then go to File -> Save For Web. In this screencast, Jeff shows how you can do this. If you don’t have the slice tool, you can just use the marquis tool to select the area you want. Select more than you want here to have some room to play with it. Copy it by going to Edit -> Copy Merged. Then you can open a new document, choose the dimensions that you want it to be, and paste it there. Then you can use the Arrow tool to move it arround inside that window if you need to. Hope this helps!

Yes, you can change the color scheme to anything you want. If you are having a hard time doing that, let me know and I’ll help.

It works now! I know it’s been a while, but it hasn’t been easy for me to find time to get back to this.

Hi! How easy would it be to remove the submenus from the bottom navigation bar so that “Menu”, “Locations”, etc. would be direct links instead?

If the browser doesn’t have JavaScript enabled, it just doesn’t cycle through the ads. Everything else works though. Very few people do not have JavaScript enabled though.
