I realize this is the html version, but when you view the live example of the html site, it has a lot of wordpress functionality. For example, when you go to the About Us page, the left column is blog entry related. Plus there’s a link to the blog in the top nav. So are you saying with the html version the left hand nav goes away because this isn’t a wordpress template? Just making sure before I buy due to your strict refund policy

Hi, I am having a little problem with the contact page. 1. Whenever I send a message/email, the sent validation is displayed and it never goes away even after the message is submitted. 2. I also noticed that if I do refresh the contact page after the message is sent and the fields are blink (empty), there are duplicate messages sent by refreshing the page. 3. I intentionally put some crazy stuff in the fields; I didn’t only get another validation error stating that the message wasn’t sent, but the entire page was distorted with the following code being displayed on the page: “Warning: mail() [function.mail]: Failed to connect to mailserver at “relay-hosting.secureserver.net” port 25, verify your “SMTP” and “smtp_port” setting in php.ini or use ini_set() in D:\Hosting\2848827\html\JAFarley\contact.php on line 9” Is there anyway this problems can be rectified? For example, the validation message clearing the screen after the message is sent, having an error message displayed instead of distorting the entire page, and the refresh problem, if possible. Here’s the address of the site I am testing it on: www.jafarley.com. Finally, besides these little issues with the contact page, you have done a wonderful job. Thumbs up! Yours, Jalex01

with the html template, how to you get the blog feature to work? Do I have to install wordpress on my server then upload the html template to that?

@ Bukoman : Thanks for your comment. The hangover completely intentional as you can see its styled and customized by wrapping around the content area at the top (Just in case you didn’t notice) I feel the design draws more focus to the content, and “different” is refreshing sometimes. @ d4v1d : Thanks, I thought a “different” look would be refreshing. The server is down atm, but is being sorted out by the hosting company. Sorry about any inconvenience.

Great theme. Question—how do I go about turning the auto responder off? I saw the code in the contact_ajax file, but i didn’t want to mess with that code.

Looking at the screens, all the internal pages the content area seems to fall off the side. I’m guessing this is intentional, but it just looks broken and accidental. The footer also isn’t as wide as the content area and just looks bad. Just some design critique to improve the template.

Afflict, Thanks for the great template! I’m having a hard time with the background color. In your screen shots i can see it has a white background however in the demo and the download it’s got a yellow tint color for the bg, there looks like a break where the colors and images meet. However none of the images have the yellow tint, and i’m not seeing the css for the background color. Any idea how i can make this uniform? either the white or yellow here’s my example http://firsttimehome-buynow.com/site/ Rob

Hi Afflict, This may sound stupid but I did look at other ways to contact you but I’m struggling to any info anywhere on how to do it. When you say contact page, where is it? I looked on the contact page on this site and all I can see is support@.... related to this site and nothing specific to you. Thx Mark

I bought this version tonight thinking it was a wordpress version. It shows up as a wordpress them when you filter your searches. I dont think its fair to have this version in with the wordpress themes. I didnt even see the ‘other version’ till now and that is the version I need. I have no use for html.

Hi, I have bought the template – I really love the look of it. I am having one problem with it at the moment though – flickering of the jsquery slider at the top. I didn’t actually notice before I purchased but it does actually do it on your live site and is quite noticeable now I have changed the stock images to my own. I had a quick trawl on the internet and it suggested something to do with pre-loading images. I did try this but maybe it isn’t the issue or maybe I got the code wrong. Do you have a fix to make this look smoother? Any help would be kindly appreciated. Regards Mark
