Hello, I have the HANDCRAFT WORDPRESS THEME and I am trying to get my “services” page to act correctly. I only want the 5 services to show up on that page, instead every article (post) that I make ends up on my services page. I have tried to read the help file but some parts aren’t very clear. Hey Brankic, The problem with the menu-highlights is that the “Current-Class” is missing. On the home page and Subpages the “current-class” works perfectly. On the other pages the current class is not defined and the blue background not work. a href=”http://www.dosensport.com” class=’current’>Home< The other problem. Pagenavi not work. How can I get the update to this theme if I purchased it before and there’s a newer version?

Ahoy! AWESOME theme. I just purchased it because it had every piece of functionality I needed. BUT , of course, since it’s not compatible with the newest version of wordpress, I am having problems. I started with 3.2 and got the same errors everyone else was (after looking through all the comments.) So I said to myself… alright, I will just use an older version. So, I installed 2.9… NOPE . Fatal error to undefined function call. Ooookay, so I updated to 3.0. MORE errors! The theme loads but no images show up. lol Plus I am getting Warning: strpos() [function.strpos]: Offset not contained in string in errors in the home widgets. SO, I figured I would just ask. What is the magic combination? How can I get this thing to work like it is in the demo? Again, thanks for the help and for an excellent theme. It’s a shame you are not doing any more future developments.

I am taking time to read through all 234 comments to see if this problem has been solved already – but here are the problems I am having – which may be because the theme for wordpress is not compatible with WP3 .0. 1. I noticed the theme does not support wordpress featured images per post – I’d like to use that function instead of placing images to show in the banner/carousel – is there an easy way to switch that on? 2. I don\’t know if there is a more elegant/simple implementation of social media – I have been using jetpack – but wondered if you have had success using sociables or other plugins to array your buttons in your socialize post/area 3. I cannot get the carousel to rotate images – trying to up highslide now to see if that fixes it… didn’t work – any ideas? Accordion works, nothing else does. 4. I can’t get submenus to show/work – I have the submenus located in the wordpress interface under the main menu headings – but for whatever reason they don’t show – if I switch to another theme, they do show – just wondering where these are called from? All in all – I love the look of the theme – but it will take me a while to get used to the post-centric way of organizing the ‘widgety’ areas of the site – in future it would be much easier to widgetize all components of the theme, and I am sorry to hear you will not be supporting this further . Thanks in advance – I appreciate your time, and your excellent design. I hope I can tweak it without too much grief!

After I get my 5 posts set up to show on the services page, every other post after that shows up there as well. ex: if I have service 1 service 2 service 3 service 4 and service 5 and i decide to make a new post for my portfolio, i would then have service 6 (6 being the post that is only supposed to be in the portfolio) I just want the services to be separate from all all other posts. hope this make sense thanks!!!
