Hello
I’m desperate because I needed to make a hemlock child theme, to be able to edit the Gutteberg font style and classic client editor.
My surprise is that the normal method of creating a child, for the hemlock theme, doesn’t work correctly.
The site loses a lot of parent customizations. It is as if something is not right.
I have searched your FAQ and I see nothing about how to do a child theme of hemlock. With other templates, if I see specific documentation of them.
Some help? I don’t need support. I need clarification about problem with child theme

Hi, I’ve had the theme for 5 years and am happy, Now I have been working on improving the core web vitals for my site. I’m having an issue specifically with CLS and through page insights I am getting these diagnostics: “These DOM elements contribute most to the CLS of the page.” The elements listed include: , , . Any suggestion on how to improve this?

Hello,
I’m currently working on a site that is using this theme. Is there a way to hide categories on posts that are not set as the primary category?
So for example, if a post is assigned to “Business” and “Spotlight” categories where “Business” is the primary category. Can we hide “Spotlight” for that post since it is not the primary category?
We’ve tried Ultimate Category Excluder and it does not do what we are looking for as it hides sub-category posts when they are used as the primary category for other posts.

Hello, today is October 6, 2020, and although I have installed the most recent August 2020 update, the Smash Balloon Social Feed for Instagram does not seem to work in the footer area with the shortcode you provided here: https://solopine.ticksy.com/article/14117/

And I have not been able to find any other comments, responses, or help tickets regarding this issue. Have you switched plugins, or is there another plugin we should be using since Smash Balloon, formerly ‘Instagram Feed’ no longer seems to be working for the horizontal footer feed.

I have a problem with the topic. It is incompatible with any plugin to comply with the RGPD regulations and gives serious errors on the server. I have already tried four and bought one and the problem persists. Can you recommend a plugin to comply with the RGPD regulations that is compatible with the theme?

Hi,
I bought the Hemlock theme many years ago and there are some plugins that are not updating and giving me problems on the web. My hosting tells me that I have to delete them, but I don’t know if there would be a problem in the functionality of the theme when doing it. The plugins are:
-Vafpress Post Formats UI
-CodeStilyng Localizacion
