I have an old installation of this theme, and I don’t think it works with WP Version 5.5.3. My site isn’t loading the flex slider anymore and the page builder functionality isn’t working. If I try to install a theme update with Envato Market plugin – will this break my current site? (per this documentation – https://goodlayers.ticksy.com/article/1893/)

After upgrading to Wordpress 5.9 yesterday the slider is not working properly anymore: You can no longer change the order of the images. Are you aware of this problem?

I would like to update Modernize from 3.4.0 to 3.4.1. However one of the changes is a bit strange. The first line of style-custom.css in v3.4.1 looks like this:
html{ background-image: url(http://localhost/Gdl Theme/themes/modernize/images/pattern/pattern-1.png); }
It is a bit strange to refer to localhost for the background image. Anybody any idea?

Hi, Modernize 3.21, I would to update with 3.4.1 version.

Auto updater…. nothing happens, no “update” on Envato Market Plugin. Only 3.21 and “Cutomize”. I retry with new tokens but I can only see:
- “Incorrect token permissions…”
(I enabled the permission that you want!)

”...please generate another token or fix the permissions on the existing token. Please ensure only the following permissions are enabled: View and search Envato sites, Download your purchased items, List purchases you’ve made.”

Manual method don’t work because it can’t override the theme when I browse and I try to install the modernize.zip file manually.
Please could you tell me how I can update the theme? Why it’s so complicated? Thank you very much.

Modernize 3.30 has a vulnerability in the contact form. Someone exploited one of my client’s sites to send vast quantities of spam via the Modernize form in a footer widget. Form is removed until an update is available.
Doesn’t seem to be any way to email Goodlayers without knowing the original Envato account so I guess I’ll see what happens in the comment section.

Hello, i can not longer update the themes settings after updating to the latest version. I rolled back to WP 5.5 disabled all the plugins and deleted the cache. PHP 7.4 FPM in my hosting is activated. Do i have to reset the theme and if how do i make it.

Please make sure that you update the theme to latest version in order to use with WP5.5 Also, by updating the theme, please make sure that you update GoodLayers’ Plugins as well and please clear browser cache after updating.

PRE SALES QUESTION:
Hi. I´ve been hired to update an old website wich has installed Modernize Versión: 2.04. I need to update but i´m not sure if it has a licence or is a free version or what. Probably they lost it. But before i buy this item i need to know if there´s a path or guidance to update from this old version. Anywise i need to do this and I suppouse this may break things. I am willing to do it. Would you give me some idea of the complexity? Thank you very much
