Visual Composer won’t update. i keep getting.. “An error occurred while updating WPBakery Visual Composer: To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit Settings to activate your Visual Composer. Got Visual Composer in theme?”. I;ve tried several times. I have envato toolkit installed for updating theme. I even tired by installing the theme files directly to server. no luck. I’m on version 5.1 (wordpress 4.8)

Getting a Cannot load tgmpa-install-plugins error after latest update when trying to update Revolution Slider

Today this theme has produced LOADS of error codes with essential grid + js composer, part of WP/bakery visual composer. This caused my entire site to load nothing but error codes. I didn’t do anything to it to cause this. I had to disable essential grid. Sorry but I don’t think this is good enough. Wordpress used to be more stable but now there are too many conflicts with plugins and there is not enough accountability by anyone. All the plugins and tricks and caches and minification and gzip and combined javascript and lord knows what else won’t do anything if the entire site doesn’t display ANYTHING that it’s supposed to!!! I’m not talking about a few things looking wrong in css. I’m talking about the entire site somehow DISAPPEARING and throwing up line after line of error codes onto an otherwise blank screen. What is going on? That’s not right and people should learn to ‘preempt’. For starters, I don’t think I’ll ever buy another ‘skin’ type of theme that’s based around some other underlying layout/plugin. Sure it looks good. But look at what’s happened! Am I to believe that I have to fork out $40 for support when I did not do anything to cause or produce this error? How is it my fault? If it’s not my fault, then whose fault is it? Is it Visual composer’s fault? Is it JS composer’s fault? Is it wordpresses’ fault? Or is it the theme developer’s fault? I think wordpress should slow down with the bloody updates already because it’s getting absolutely ridiculous and the end user is having to pay for others’ mistakes. Just last week I had to fork out $40 for another theme that partially broke. And now it happens again on a different one. There needs to be some kind of guarantee that a theme will be supported for X number of years without some catastrophic error breaking the entire [stock] website. Not happy, https://www.vayakora.com

A little help with the above inquiry please. I’m running Craftsman 1.6.7 and WP 5.2.4. In the description for your theme it says that it works with WP Bakery.

With the last few patches, Visual composer is not saving background image and information, or button colors, and many things, I don’t know if it’s an issue with Visual composer or with the theme integration that is missing something, or if there is a change in the any folder permission require.

Hi, The first slide arrow of the demo slider points right and leads to the next slide. The second slide (video slide) arrow points down. So possibly you are just looking at the wrong slide? Anyway, you can add your arrow and any other icon easily, also you can rotate existing arrow by selecting it and holding curved arrow icon. Thank you!
