How do we update to the latest theme? I only have access to the old theme and the new wordpress is not compatible with some of themes features.

Theme installed on word press but some Plugins are not working on. It’s telling me that this theme requires the following plugins: ContactForm7DatePicker and Types. When I tried to install these an error comes up stating Something went wrong with the plugin API. I am unable to get my website going due to this error. Please advise.

I am trying to upload this theme on word press and am not able to. This is the message I am receiving: The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
