Hello, I am very interested in the Kolumn theme for creating my Book Author website. Please, help me better understand the following points: 1. Can posts be sorted / filtered by category? – I would like my carousel header to only circulate through my latest book releases, but the masonry should include all posts, regardless of category; 2. Does this theme work with MailChimp plugins such as MC4WP? – I need to manage and grow my subscribers list through the website; 3. Can the pull out sidebar be different from the permanently displayed sidebar & can it be animated to automatically roll out after a time delay? – I would like to keep my subscription form seperate from other content; 4. Is it possible to have custom formats / aspect ratios for the lead graphic in each individual post? – I see the live demo has mostly square images, but many of my graphics are going to include either book covers in portrait format or wide landscape shots; 5. Is it possible to have unique custom menus in the header and footer sections? – I would like a traditional content navigation menu in the header (with breadcrumb) & a terms and conditions menu including legal user opt-ins and opt-outs in the footer; 6. Are the social media icons placed as a menu within the footer or in some kind of widget within the body of the page? – I am interested in animating this menu to roll out upon a hover or tap event. 7. Is it possible to post / display SVG graphics and CSS animations? – I have several animations from previous web projects that I would like to include here; 8. Is it possible to create additional custom static pages? – The live demo shows examples of ‘about’ & ‘contact’ pages, but I would like to create multiple ‘about the author’ pages (and also there are the GDPRS and Impressum pages). 9. Does the ecommerce solution operate with a static sales page, placeable carousel (catalogue of products) or directly in individual posts? – I notice that one of the most recent updates includes WooCommerce and I am certainly interested in selling books and merchandise directly. A ‘pay to view’ functionality would also be useful. 10 Is it possible to modify the CSS to include different colour combinations and hover behaviour? – I am interested in a dark theme but maybe something more like dark blue. Also, at the moment, the menu hover behaviour is very on/off with no distinction made between Focus and Active. Wow! That turned into a lot more questions than I initialy anticipated!
