FYI – If you decided to create a store view – for example: Japan – and setup a locale in Japanese. The css styles will not applied unless you duplicated the Settings_default.css and renamed it to Settings_japan.css in pub/media/sm/configed_css – I didn’t have to do this on the old framework

my support is already expired. Does anyone know how to enable the translate inline [I already did enable the translate inline but it didn’t work for language dropdown] or how to translate this string for language switcher dropdown. For example when clicking French once you’re in Japanese page -- under the language drop down it will shows 日本 thank you in advance for your help.

I created ticket MTT-0000014330 to report a bug in the code but they refuse to fix it because our support contract has expired. So I’ll share it here to help other people.
Product list tabs that return no results should show a text message but it generates a javascript error. This is because the variable msg_empty is nowhere defined.
