The /fonts/lg/lg.eot font was missing, and some of the JavaScript plugins are VERY out of date. (jQuery 1.12.4, for example, is from 2016). There wasn’t any package management included, and that’s OK, so I implemented npm, updating everything and fixing a few errors I encountered along the way; I managed to get it up to speed after a few hours work.
From a developer’s point of view, I have picked up on a few things:
- Putting those phpmailer and mailchimp files inside the public directory is a big no-no as it presents a possible security risk; they should be outside of the public directory.
- In the contact-form.php script, you are setting the sender email to the email entered into the contact form – 99% of receiving mailservers will reject the email as spam, owing to the sender identity being invalid. Ideally, this should send through SMTP and use a noreply@ address.
- Don’t get me started on the onResizePort function in init.js HA!
I understand this was written by someone more design-y than develop-y, and it’s true, it’s very nice to look at, loads of kudos on the design, but, from a developers point of view, it was a bit of a nightmare to work with.

I assume you can change the dates in the following array
/***** Availablity Calendar Start*****/
var d = new Date();
var n = d.getFullYear();
var notAvailableDates = ['01-05-2017'+n+'','01-02-2017'+n+'','01-12-2017'+n+'','01-01-2017'];
and it should show ‘notAvailableDates’ when hovering your mouse over? As it’s not currently working.
