Neat theme, attractive by the looks, but complicated to configure, and the coding seems to cause some slowing down problems (theme plugins considered too heavy and CSS are not really liked by Google PageSpeed Insights). Also, it definitely lacks more options that could be easily added in an update but it's just never coming, such as more columns in portfolios (why limit to 5 ?), adding custom content such as simple text above or below portfolio displays, etc... Feels too rigid. Also some bugs such as images in full-size if page is set to Gallery template, ... Otherwise the theme is functional and looks good. I would gladly update this review if more updates also came up, that would include these recommendations.

Hello! I just created a new portfolio item and added text. After refreshing, I see that the text I added is showing twice after the portfolio images. I’m using “Portfolio Gallery – 2 columns” setting. To troubleshoot, I switched it back to “default” Portfolio type and the double text disappears. Any ideas? I left the issue up on the page for you. Hi there, I bought this theme a while ago and would like to know how exactly I install the latest updates. I am only just able to build the site and so far have not been able to make use of the support which as sadly expired now. Also, could you please tell me how I could possibly make portrait images display as portrait images (in revolution slider) instead of chopping off the top and bottom? Really need the help. (finally, where exactly do I find support, or questions and answers? Is there a help/discussion forum?) The help documentation is not adequate in my opinion. Thanks again (nice theme though)

Disappointingly this theme is actually not responsive – at least not in an acceptable way. I have just finished building my website after many pain staking hours only to find that opening on any mobile device crops all images beyond recognition. For example, an image of a person stood just to the left of centre on the desktop site will not show the person at all on the mobile version. Almost all themes are properly responsive these days and able to handle the resizing of images to display on a mobile device. When I bought this theme and read the notes to say it was responsive I was confident that all would be fine.I understand the cropping of background parallax images on some themes but not gallery images on what is meant to be a portfolio website. My images, on mobile, show the shoulders of a person, or the edge of a beach scene, or just the hand of a person when it should be a photo of the person.

Big disappointment. I bought it with very high hopes but their support team disgrace. I just ask their help for force to desktop view in mobile but they just said like that: “to help our other users, we cannot accept such requests like these”. It is like a joke. The theme is not a regular theme and because of that, I can’t use popular custom css codes or php codes for force to desktop view because none of them work properly. I wish I could take back time in order not to buy this theme.

Pretty much none of the features work out of the box. Try adding a slider, masonry, whatever and see the mess for yourself. It's either super basic (completely ignoring the original image dimensions/screen orientation when creating a layout) or you can use revolution slider which is powerful, completely manual and takes exactly forever to create anything semi-decent. A very frustrating experience.

Edge are my now go to Theme developers. The edge tools are really good and the support is excellent! I would recommend every time!

I’ve bought the theme a while ago. I recently added a Masonry Media Grid with several images in it to my pages. The images are loaded and placed correctly but when I click to enlarge an image I don’t see any controls to go to the previous or next image of set gallery. Is this a know issue?

Hi there! I love the theme – it took some work to get it styled for mobile the way I wanted (images do crop a little strangely – perhaps support for uploading a mobile version?). Overall though a fantastic theme that saved me a lot of time, and I’ve just left a positive review for it! Do you have plans to release 1.4? I’m getting woocommerce warnings on a few files. Honestly I like the theme so much that if you’ve abandoned it I’ll just keep updating the woocommerce templates myself for my own site! Thanks again.

Tried for weeks to get the Edge Core plugin to load faster than the 15+ seconds it would take. I'm running this on a private VPS with solid resources but it does not want to be fast at all. Support was timely in answering my questions (during the holidays) but ultimately could not figure out the problem. Quite disappointing, as this would have been a great theme for my photography portfolio. Had to look elsewhere. Just a heads up, this requires several additional plugins to get the theme working as designed in the demo site. Wish that information was displayed before I purchased. Site loading time is everything, especially when potential clients decide to go elsewhere when your webpage takes forever to load. This is why I have a VPS but this theme just did not want to be fast.

Hello, is there an easy way how to make theme all dark as in demo project ? When I change to dark in Edge Options just content text becomes white and not visible in white background. When I try to change individually background color etc all looks broken. Some things change some not. I want to achieve same results as in dark demo but so far with no luck

This is exactly what I was looking for, a simplistic clean look in black and white colors. Though I had some issues customizing it, but support team really helped solving all the issues. Fully satisfied with the purchase, no complaints.

Hi there, I just bought this theme a few days ago and when I try to import demo version it is always stuck at 90%. As your team said in other forums (your official web site) I have to check my host settings for limits. But there is a still same problem for me and nothing has changed. Also because of this problem the theme is not loading correctly. I tried every method your team said but no difference. I just want to use Objektiv1 Grid Gallery view in my site (one page).
