How easy would it be to make the right hand column of the standard page 300px wide?

hi, I am using Jquery 1.9.x or higher version. jquery in this package is too old it is 1.7. So everything plugin in my system makes conflicts. if i change jquery to 1.9 or higher version then your plugins make errors. Do you have any plan to change this package for latest version of jquery? Actually i can fix some error like live function but other your custom function for lower veriosn of jquery I can not handle it!! could you help me?!!

when mouse pointer on the top menu sub-menu display and after move to other element it disappear. but sometimes it is not disappear. I think this problem from javascript. any solutions? I don’t have much time to solve this so I could not check your source deeply.
