The theme looks and works really great right out of the box! The options are really well thought with some of the best solutions I've found for things like the selection of how many words you want till the line break for titles and impressive tiny details like that. The customer support is also great! Even though it's not incredibly fast, the answers are very personalized and caring. Special thanks to Aleksandra for all her help with my initial questions. Five stars!

I was pleased about the features and flexibility showed on the demo theme. The documentation is complete and gives you an overview of the features and how the theme works before putting my hands on customising. But the best part has been when I have contacted the Customer Service in order to ask for further questions about customisation: I have been even more pleased to discover how good they are. I can't help but recommend Ottar theme and Edge Themes Customer service.

Hi there… I have set up a Portfolio category, that I am using on my homepage to display images in Masonry for just that category only…. All my other categories are showing in a separate portfolio page (Work) gallery with a category filter above. My problem is that my ‘homepage’ category shows in the category filter on my main portfolio page, and I can’t exclude it. I have tried using the ‘Show Only Projects with Listed IDs’ function for the portfolio page, which works as it only shows the projects in the categories I want in the filter… BUT my unwanted ‘homepage’ category still shows in the filter. You click on it and no projects show… but not ideal… is there any way of changing this ? I have renamed the category with just . (a dot) but it looks odd in the category filter. thanks

Very poor support, the Theme documentation is full of obviousness information and technical support it is not helpfoul at all, they do not even bother to read your tickets properly and address you to standarized replys that in many cases do not correspon with Theme options at all

I have used Ottar for a year now and it’s incredibly slow, upwards of 20 second load times on any page I click. I haven’t touched the site in a year and yet it has slowed down to a crawl, what changed and how can we correct this?

This is not a theme for someone without much experience in wordpress. Even with the demos. It was just too difficult for me to get this to look anyway good so I ended up not being able to use it. Not for greenhorns.

The menu color does not change to white even if I use dark mode in the above menu. How can it be changed? 3. Just updated Ottar to 1.6.1, but my WPBakery & Slider Revolution (both came with the theme) did not get updated. I was under the impression that purchasing the Ottar theme means WPBakery & Slider Revolution will get updated along with Ottar, as long as I have an active license with EdgeThemes. How do I get these plugins to update?
