Even after providing all the required details we still haven't heard from the fox support team after 3 days. This is delaying the website development and also is not helping me as my support expires in a month and I would appreciate if the problems are solved ASAP.

The theme is great for customization and the list of demos provide a great backbone/framework for development. However, the site is quite heavy and coupled with WPML, makes the site sluggish - even on a high-powered VPS machine. I hope that future builds will reduce JS and other elements that slow down an otherwise well equipped theme with a good deal of options.

Without additional coding, this theme is meant for desktops only. While it does resize for mobile, there is no way (without additional coding) to leave the top bar active allowing a viewer to "Click to call" or an additional link to a contact. Essentially, you're forcing viewers to scroll to find your contact info or click the burger to go to a contact form. In this day and age of mobile, you have simply got to make it simpler to allow a viewer to make immediate contact. This theme will not do it.

This theme claims to be user friendly and that you don't need to know how to code in order to make a beautiful website. I am not entirely tech challenged, but my boyfriend is a whiz and last weekend we spent collectively 16 hours trying to figure out the simplest tasks (still haven't figured out all of the issues). I would not recommend this theme.

There are a lot of great things about this template, I am loving it. But the best thing is the support. These guys went above traditional support to help diagnose and fix the problem. They have been extremely fast getting back to me. ALWAYS less than 24 hours.

I've used this theme now for my clients for over two years...one of my absolute favourite themes. Not only easy for me to build, but the back end makes it so simple for my clients to update themselves after handover. Support has been excellent too. Can highly recommend!

I have been very impressed with TheFox theme. The design and customizability are great and very straight forward. The Customer support is top notch. They have been able to help with every question I have had and have made the process very easy and enjoyable.

After updating The Fox, my portfolio disappeared from my page and the plugins are out of date. As my support has expired, I have no recourse since I don't want to pay $41 for what probably is a quick fix on their end.

Shitty demo importer. Have waited months for improvements on this, but nothing happens. I've followed your guidelines, but either it keeps bugging, or pictures dosen't get downloaded correctly. Demo import is such an important functionality in bought-to-function themes as this - but you're overseeing it. The docs are outdated, as the images here dosen't fit the reality. There are 3 different imports, but I don't have the slighest idear which one I should choose. The docs dosen't outline this.

Ships with out of date and broken plugins. After install there are no less than five required plugins nagging me to buy a license to activate auto-updates. According to the developer, your options are wait for the developer to update the theme which includes the plugins updates, or purchase a plugin license.The broken plugin is RV Slider. Appears to me that the old version of RV Slider the developer ships won't work on the newer version of WP.Overall, another bloated, messy, multi-purpose theme that will require a lot of customization and plugin maintenance.

Excellent design, support is appropriate, respond and help in the shortest possible time, and really solve the problems.

- you have to dig deep to find information (not on the details page, not in the documentation) about the visual composer license (wich is not included) - no option for color sets (choose between the presets or set every element/module single are not the best options) - more demo files would be nice, like the demo site you created@envato: i wrote a review for about 15min and accedantly clicked outside the "review this item" overlay and my text is gone :(

I don't give less to this theme because there are no clear instructions on how to use the theme, the interface to use it is unclear and I did not find the interface friendly at all, I bought beaver builder after spending my money on this, and I did amazing, I highly recomend not to purchase this one, I request my money back because the product was not friendly at all and my refund was declined. They said I had to contact support and my thought was, if I have to contact support for the basic what can I expect for the complicated. I raised my complain with envato and I hope they can do something with a really disppointed customer. Envato claims that they check the quality of the products they are selling... I did not see that.

I have been obsessing over finding the perfect theme for many weeks, and after looking at all the major players/best-rated multi-purpose themes, I could not find another theme that was quite as gorgeous, striking or vibrant coupled with all the latest features I was looking for.

Starting a new website from scratch these days is so unnecessary with quality themes available like this one, built on the powerful Visual Composer platform. I've purchased this theme multiple times and the support is super helpful. Will be installing another TheFox site again soon.

WARNING - Do NOT buy this theme.We have been facing nothing but problems with this theme. The worst is the bad coding quality. And the slow performance. It is so insainly slow. And the arrogant support team that dont help at all. Or all of it!We use a dedicated server with WP Engine and face loading times on 10 seconds or more. On every page. WP Engines engineers examined the site and monitored the site with New Relic with the conslusion that it is the Fox theme causing all the performace problems. The only - and worthless - answer from the Fox Theme support is that they use WP Engine themselves and have no problems. The support is slow, arrogant and completely useless. They just leave you with the problems and do absolutely nothing to help.I am sure that they will respond to this review - as to all other bad reviews - that the theme runs flawless. It does not. It is causing nothing but problems. STAY AWAY FROM THE FOX THEME.

To be frank, this has probably been the worst theme experience I had.I payed a good amount of money for a theme that I wanted to _just work_. Nothing more. First off, to update the theme... the fact that you have to download a new version, DELETE the old version and then install the new version is incredibly stupid. This means I have at least 5 minutes of my site looking like shit (if the upload goes well, that is). I was adviced to install an envato market plugin for this, but that didn't work. (The same update procedure goes with the required plugins, by the way)Secondly, to translate your site is a hassle. Not only do you have to download a .po editor but you also have to sift through endless of admin strings (HEY I don't want to translate my admin controls, only like 10 pieces of text on my site like "leave a reply". And not only that - to make sure your .po file doesn't get deleted when you update the theme you have to install a CHILD THEME. Why can't the regular lang folder be used?Wish I would have gone for another theme.

Really slow loading theme. Do not use any pictures or videos with this theme. Gave up on this theme and bought another theme instead! Don't consider buying this theme !!!

Just way too much overhead in this theme and not optimized very well. Support is ok and communicative but this is one of those themes that look pretty on the front-end, but the backend is too overloaded and too many bugs.

This theme could have a great potential for customization, but their extensive redesign of WP Bakery Page Builder (formerly Visual Composer) makes it hard and tedious to fix some visual bugs at some specific screen sizes, especially when you're already used to using the page builder. Moreover, it has a lot of customization options, but lacks a few important ones. For instance, in some places, you can change the color of an icon in an icon box, but not its background color, or vice versa.

A rich featured theme and a perfect customer support!The presence of Page Builder and Revolution Slider is a must. TheFox also proposes a really clean mobile version.Some tiny defaults: - few options could be more accessible and explained in the admin UI - the color of Headings should be independently adjustable without intervening on the CSS - the single post design of the blog section should be a bit more flexible (only 2 themes) - the sidebar section design should be a bit more flexible (only 2 themes)Despite that, I bought it for another project!

This is simply one of the best Wordpress themes in the Themeforest repository. I've never had any problems with it and it's so stable ridiculously customisable to the point you never have to touch any code. I always like authors who allow the users access to every design aspect of their themes from the interface, instead of hiding or obscuring them and thus making users have to modify the theme itself to unlock them! Also, it is regularly updated, which shows the author dedicates time to the theme. That said, one thing I would love to see in a future version is an autoupdate feature in the back-end, for having to manually install after every update can be laborious at times. Still, I could write for days about my other likes but I'll leave it there and urge other users to invest in TheFox. You won't be disappointed.

The Visual Composer stopped working, and since July 2016 there has been no solution other than editing with code. Back and forth with the Envato helpdesk during the assistance period, but did not help. The answer was that it should work. Well, it does not. After re-installing as well as loading to a new domain, still with no luck of getting Visual Composer working (needs to be said that it actually works on a different site I built). Have asked my buy to be replaced with a license for Avada instead. Let's see if the meet my request. The Fox theme is great when Visual Composer works well. Let's hope the Envato team is fair and not ignorant.

I bought this theme based on all the positive reviews... Worst experience so far: - doesn't work correctly with Polylang - a very common plugin with 100k+ installs... - support is not helping

A truly awesome theme, updated many times since I purchased it. You can bend this theme to suit almost any application with a bit of creativity. But the stand out feature for me was the customer support, the guys and gals at tranmautritam have answered all 70+ of my questions and helped wherever possible. For this I am sincerely thankful. Hello, My support has run out but i’m a little confused, we haven’t changed anything to do with our site or our theme and suddenly the modules: Custom heading 4k icon boxed heading and button have stopped working?? we cant access setting for any of these modules, I will test/check the rest, Is this an error with the theme? or php 8 maybe?

Lovely theme, lots of nice features and the great visual page builder tool. My only slight criticism is the lack of header options. I have had to heavily modify the code for the header simply because there weren't enough options out of the box, and the logo on the default header is tiny. Great theme though, would highly recommend.
