These themes are very beautiful but VERY buggy. Make sure you have a good understanding of Drupal Core before buying NikaDev themes.

Fantastic theme. Great design, easy to use and complete. Multiple purpose. All "difficult" things for non coders are included, parallax, video background, layout-builder.

Your changelog says, Version 1.8.2 was the last entry in 2019 but it seems last update was on 6 Oct 2020. What has been updated or fixed since 1.8.2 ? cheers

I installed the Drupal 9 version and I’m having a million problems, am I the only one? what is the best path forward to get this theme to work effectively for D9

The Drupal 8 version is very buggy. It appears they simply ported from Drupal 7 and has many bugs. Menus dont respect cardinality (order), system language switcher does not work, subpage titles dont always reflect/show the page title, caching issues, very slow since most of the them is created using shortcodes and not blocks which gives you a lot more work to do when it comes down to editing dynamic pages. The themes language dropdown does not work with the Group Module translated groups and many other bugs. The Drupal 8 commerce also was missing. For a beginner this them might seem okay, for more intermediate or advanced Drupal developers this is a nightmare since it is almost all based on shortcodes and gives you very little wiggle room to customize using real code. It is a beginners theme with many bugs in the Drupal 8 version.

Actually to be honest, I love the whole theme, as it is really flexible, adjustable, so fun to play around with and even though I am illiterate with webbuilding, but this theme is fun!!!

Amazing theme with a lot of features. This theme makes it easy to create my site exactly as I want it, which requires several one page pages, a webshop and a blog to begin with. This theme is allowing me to do it all as I want it, is very flexible and easy to customize. Very happy!

First off, I would not consider myself a Drupal expert, but I can hold my own. I have been in the web development biz for over 10 years, using Drupal for only the last few years.This theme is great and with the support Roman provides, I would say good luck finding somehting more comprehensive and supported. Could the documentation be better sure, but I would also expect anyone using this theme to already know the basics of Drupal making the current documentation not all that bad.From the reviews I have read and the experience I have working with NikaDevs product and the support provided by Roman, I think anything you read that is very negative might be coming from individuals with very limited experience working with Drupal.If you have experience with Drupal and an understanding of what comes with an open source CMS, you know that not everything will be 100% perfect. With that comes limitations of what can and can't be fixed by a theme developer. Sometimes the root of a problem does go all the way back to core and you have to wait on the community of developers to fix it. Thats the trade off of free vs paid. This is especially the case with Drupal 8 considering it is still very new for production use.I have nothing but accolades about my decision to use this theme with our Drupal 8 site. I would even go as far to say that it is extremely under priced for what you get.Thank you NikaDevs and Roman for providing such a comprehensive theme and quick effective support. I needed help to get some features working, and to get the theme where I wanted it, but overall I am very happy with it. Also, very thankful for great support from Roman. I would have giving this theme 5 stars if the documentation had a little more depth to it.NOTE: I had a bad experience with another Theme Author - took him 2 weeks to respond to my issue, when I was trying to launch a website asap, so it's good to see that some Authors (e.g. Rhythm) take support seriously, and respond promptly.

I had a complaint about the theme's current download package; not about the Rhythm Theme itself. I was not aware of this goofy star rating system which I seem to have inadvertently given a *-star. Not true. His Rhythm theme is a solidly-designed (from the Drupal CMS standpoint) theme, which, for the novice, might be imporved by a more user-friendly documentation (at least the English one) but then with patience you will see that despite the documentation you have one of the best themes in its category I have used.

"Main reason for your rating".. um.. all of them?Holy crap. This theme is fantastically easy to use and yet extremely powerful. I've got licenses to about 5 themes here on Themeforest. The others hardly compare to this one in terms of function, usability, and design.The code quality is also excellent. Some themes don't bother coding in such a way that Drupal's extensibility is as seamless as it should be. Some themes get visual errors in the admin pages when you install modules. Not this one. It's setup to be extensible. Add-on menus aren't tacked on to other menus haphazardly. There are built-in admin views specifically designed to make it easier to find and manage your content.Excellent work on this one! Truly!

I hate to rate anything this badly, especially such a beautiful theme but it was very difficult to get it installed in Drupal 8 and NikaDevs only suggested more than once that I should try again or that everything seemed fine. He actually claimed that php 7 is required for Drupal 8 which it's not. (see Drupal.org) I bought extended support for this theme because I like the look quite a bit now I am regretting it. The permissions of the included Drupal 8 installation files were not the same as the download from Drupal.org and while I did figure out on my own that those permissions were causing a redirect loop somehow on my server, and that the standard download from Drupal.org worked fine, the scary thing was that the author claimed that there are NO permissions set on his "folder" and that they are set by my operating system. No basic understanding of file permissions or of Drupal and didn't even look at the requirements for Drupal 8 on Drupal.org before saying that php 7 is required and that php 5.6 won't even run Drupal 8. I have it running on php 5.6 right now, with his theme.Again, I love the look of this theme, and I hope the author improves because the theme has plenty of potential if properly supported.

Absolutely excellent theme. Well done! There are just so many ways to approach the same design question with this theme, very enjoyable to work with.

Drupal 8 version. Very poor documentation (update/upgrade process), plenty of bugs all most in all theme related modules. Poor communication with support.

The Documentation on this theme is lacking. One of the issues with the new release states quote:" Drupal_8 folder contains the whole struture which was generated by composer, so if you wish to support your project with the help of composer (which is required for correct modules updates). The drupal files stored on the /web folder.If Rhythm wants to go the composer route, please update documentation. "
