This is a good theme for news websites. It could be a great theme with a few more features like being able to show the number of comments along with the other common meta data like date, time, author. Being able to show the number of comments in the post meta (and even being able to highlight it somehow) is a must for many news websites. An author box and search icon in the menu would also be nice additions. Not a must but a few more header options would be nice. Otherwise I love the clean design and ease of use. But I can't switch to this theme without being able to highlight the number of comments. I have readers who go to my website several times a day just to see if there are new comments on stories. I have the Themenific magazine 1 on my homepage but sometimes it messes up. There are two empty spots where the blog posts are supposed to be (look at the screenshot). I had to make my homepage from scratch last time it happened. I do not want to do that again. Please help. I have tried changing the width, which fixes the issue in elemtors edit page but when I publish/update it, the problem is still there on the homepage.

Hi, how do I add breadcrumbs to all my pages and posts? I am using Yoast and their blog told me that a temporary solution is to add code to theme files (but I don’t want to do that since a future update will take away those changes) or talk to the theme developer for a permanent solution. As you know breadcrumbs are important for seo so I hope you can tell me how to add it permanently. Thanks!
P.S. Yes, I have breadcrumbs enabled on Yoast

I have made some css changes in style.css and have also made some changes to other .php files without using a child theme. My question is will these changes be saved if the theme is updated? If not, what am I supposed to do to make these changes stay the same in the updated version?

blog template (in demo ‘News’ page) is an automatically generated archive page and cannot be changed in the Elementor. There are three available layouts for that template you can choose from (can be set in GutenVerse admin panel > General Settings).

Hi! Great theme! Since the update to Gutenverse 3 there is a problem with excerpt. Before they were displayed in full on the single post, but now they are getting truncated and only showing up to 100 characters (like on preview on the first page and so on). Is there an easy way to fix this or is it planned for a coming update?
