Travel Guide is an WordPress Theme suitable for companies/travel agencies that provide services for tourist: can be used to provide general city attractions information, directions, audio guides, interesting places near by you. It takes inspiration from the most used travel guide apps (like Booking.com Travel guide app), that help traveler to find the most important info and places on a mobile during a visit. We built this theme on Visual Composer, a very convenient drag-n-drop PageBuilder for WordPress. It should provide you with the smoothest experience while creating your website with our theme. The WordPress theme is responsive, you can view it also in the mobile/tablets devices and it looks very in more devices.... READ MORE

I inherited your theme from a previous developer for a new client. I noticed there was no Child Theme. I repurchased the theme yesterday and seen you had a pre-made child theme already, however, noticed some issues. Child theme css gets called twice, once from the child theme and from the parent theme. Parent theme uses: wp_enqueue_style( 'travelguide-style', get_stylesheet_uri(), array(), '2016-03-29' ); Shouldn’t this use get_template_directory_uri() if child theme is applied? I currently have to deque and deregister ‘travelguide-style’ from child so it doesn’t get called twice. Also for visual composer template file in the /visual/ dir. Instead of: require_once 'visual/shortcodes.php'; require_once 'visual/vc_shortcode.php'; Shouldn’t this be: require_once get_theme_file_path('visual/shortcodes.php'); require_once get_theme_file_path('visual/vc_shortcode.php'); I couldn’t update these files unless I added this to the parent function, which defeats the purpose of having a child theme. Just wanted to update you on this. Not sure if there will be another update to the theme, but if so could this get update too?

After about 2 days playing around with this theme, I had it. Documentation is trash (just a bunch of broken english and copy and paste from a basic how to guide). Support is literally a gmail account. Comes with unlicensed plugins. At a glance the screenshot shows features that appear to be dynamic when in reality they are manual (counts, change views, etc) Not happy with this purchase.

Extremly bad theme, to have the gall demanding 100 USD (the double price normal themes have), and provide this quality is not only unprofessional, but also a shame for all other wordpress theme coders who really do a great job here on Themeforest!Examples: - the events / destinations are simply inserted with html, no backend customizability, no input fields where people who have not that knowledge concering web languages can enter the specific data - The footer is not 4 columned, to change this I have to edit .php files. - Permalinks not customizable - below all destinations, there is a contact form. But this isn't done via the included contact form builder, no, it is coded via html directly in the content. I mean - what?! Captcha always stays the same doing it like this.I can only advice everyone not to buy this theme - absolute rip-off!!!

Hello, I have the theme files and dependent plugins installed, however, the content import for the demo content does not work. When I look at the content.xml file included in the package, I see references to URLS that do not exist (They are returning 404 errors), for example: https://shtheme.com/demosd/travelguide/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/blog-1.jpg The “One Click” importer also does not work. Is this theme not functional? If that is the case, then we will be asking for a refund. I am attaching the export folder that the documentation indicates is supposed to contain the import information. I will also send this request through themeforest.

I also noticed that on line 2397: travelguid-common > ReduxFamework > Framework.php, there is a dash instead of an equal. This throws and error in php 7.3. I sent a screenshot to your support email at [email protected]

Hi, we are interested in buying the TRAVELGUIDE temple, but cannot find any information regarding the licence. The specific question we have is: After it is set up on a particular domain name can the licence if needed at a later stage be transferred to a different domain name? Regards Matt
