A button to open the menu should be the first thing in the AMP header/topbar. If it’s not showing up you don’t have any menu items. Contact support with a link to your site and I can take a look.

Hi there,
I have just upgraded to 1.22.8 and have delayed updating AMP at this point as last time it broke my site when I did so. Can I update the AMP plugin at this point? I will take a backup first.
