I’m very interested in purchasing this theme. 3 Questions: 1) Will my existing users and their login info automatically transfer (I have a similar video site that allows users to register and create pw and save videos to watch later list). Will that data transfer to this theme once installed? The current theme we have does include MyCred and Membership Pro if that helps. 2) In the Live Video page, does it support OBS feeds or is it just Youtube live feed? 3) Do all themes come with a Child Theme? This theme allowed us to do that with great quality in design options, flexibility, and a level of features that will really make it easier to grow the platform. Old, outdated coding. Irresponsible vendor. After more than 1 year, there are still aspects of his coding that he has not fixed. And I made these complaints while my support license was STILL ACTIVE.Super heavy theme. Needs multiple plugins to work. Not compatible with Buddypress like he says because you need another plugin to create a separate profile to allow users to create own video channels, for example. Super silly for the user and the site admin. Told about this over 1 year ago. Multiple people complaining and vendor does nothing. I complained about this while my support license was STILL ACTIVE.Still has a membership plugin in videopro that has been deprecated like a year ago!! Super irresponsible. I complained about this while my support license was STILL ACTIVE.And, worst yet. Vendor's latest update changed design aspects of my site and broke others. 7 days after complaining and he has still not replied.Buyer beware. Vendors who disrespect his buyers this way should be BANNED from Envato. Don't waste your money.I held out from writing this review for over a year because i believe everyone should have a chance to make things right. But I purchased this theme in October 2018. No more.

Purchased and love the theme.I sent in a support ticket with some questions. The support portal locked me out of my account when I tried to log in checking the status of my support question. I've emailed them 3 times to get it my account unlocked. I have no reply to my original question I sent in, and no reply about unlocking my account.

I only care about two things as a businessman. Avoiding the need for people and utilizing my time efficiently by not having it wasted. With this theme, both of these occurred. I hate having too many moving parts and I hate people because people get in the way of your money by slowing you down with their bs. My company has no employees, I don't need anyone to help me build it and as soon as I do? Failure. Anyway. The installation zip file is missing the .css style sheet which prevents the theme from uploading which shuts me down until Envato or Jesus feels like helping me. $60 bucks gone and nothing to show for it.

I was unfair in my review before, the overall code-quality isn't that bad, I was just upset about the updating-process and the third-party-plugins. So all in all you can consider this product, It may have its flaws but is definitly a nice theme with a lot of useful options, especially when you consider, whats on the market.

This theme is very broken. I have been in contact with the support which has yet to fix any of my issues. The theme layout settings do not work so you will be stuck with an inconsistent looking site if you choose to hide the sidebars. I have also been experiencing issues with posts not saving title and description. Imagine writing a long post body to only have it dissapear when you hit publish. I would go with one of the the other video themes.

After update WP Skin doesnt work. Series and Authors are broken and if I wanted to fix their bugs, I need to buz new support. Fuck this.,

Customer support has been really lack luster. So far none of my inquiries have actually been answered, except for a recommendation to get a quote for cactus to edit their own code because, as of now, there was no way to implement what i was trying to do myself. it should also be mentioned that with basic information that was requested (to avoid searching through the php code) i was able to tweak the site to do what I wanted it to do without contracting it to them. Though it may not be the case, it feels like they won't answer questions and are always trying to up-sell. Turnover time on ticket answers is also quite long.

This theme is the most feature rich video theme available. Every time I think I've seen it all I come across some other little tweak or feature. You can show off your videos with an endless supply of options. Sort your video by category, channels, playlists. Display them in a variety of ways with various widgets IE: Top Viewed, Popular, Video Gallery. If you ever get bored with the look of your site you can easily change this up and get a new look and feel. There are so many options that there is a kind of steep learning curve for getting proficient with the theme. Over time you will appreciate the thought and effort that went into this theme more and more and grow to love it as much as I do. With all that said, a theme is only as good as its support if you run into a snag. And the Customer Support for VideoPro is without question the best support I've ever dealt with. It's my opinion that the online documentation is a bit lacking, especially for such a complex theme. But their support more than makes up for that with quick answers to all your questions. I've been working on this theme for two months and never grow tired of it. I have come across some things I didn't understand and they quickly and politely answered all my questions. I've come across things that I thought were missing or would better work a different way and their development team added the features to the theme and had a revised version out the very next day. That's totally unheard of in this industry. This is the easiest five star rating I have ever given and it's mostly due to the customer support. Of course the theme itself gets another five stars.

Theme is great but not a good option to have your own YouTube clone. Does not offer good options to allow others to log in and upload own videos. Good for a self submitting video site.

Hi, I have a few pre-sales question; I plan to create a paid video site. Videos are hosted at vimeo and videos are only watched at site by members. I plan to use ultimate membership pro plugin. Which paid plugins do I have to purchase except Ultimate membership pro.? I need show posters of videos as grid at home and categories pages. When someone clicks poster then he/she redirected to regsiter/login page. Is it possible? Is it possible to show only 60 second of video for non-members then redirect to register/login page? Regards

The VideoPro theme is fantastic! Even though it is definitely the most feature rich Video Wordpress theme, it is extremely easy to use. Most of all... I had a small technical issue where I needed seriously advanced help related to code... The Support was unbelievable. They gave me instructions that were very easy to follow. ok - first off - been waiting for a theme like this (with ALL these live, sekf hosting, affiliate and series and advertising features for 6 months (and almost fell over when I read free installation!)- so THANK YOU. SECOND - SUPPORT blew me away last night. I bought the theme less than a week ago. Knew just enough to do MY due diligence and purchased a dedicated sever with proper ssl installed than filed my support ticket for free install with them and it was installed in less than 12 hours! VERY friendly - I was not familiar with cpanel - so within 2 hours of filing ticket they kindly responded with how I needed to set my php to proper settings AND what those settings were! - SUPER easy to find in cpanel YAY! And when I did my part with php settings, I responded and said "all done" - and I gleefully awoke to a fully installed theme. NEVER had better support. I am sure I will have more questions - but from one newbie to another - these guys WILL help you and FAST. Just get YOUR ducks in a row with the proper server and php settings. I am learning alot and SO excited to now go in and cusomize the install. If you are scared of the "new" features - don't be - this support team will walk you through and I promise you - I did not know diddly about cpanel - but in the way they way they explained it - I found my way through to where to increase php max upload time and limit etc easily. I will be selling this to MANY clients if the theme holds up function wise. So far VERY IMPRESSED with the price (buy now its worth way more than priced), and the support! THANK YOU SUPPORT for making me feel more at ease - and I am READY to tackle the Video Pro world! This product is bad. I tried to install on my wordpress it shows invalid link. I understand what they do.

I'm sure this theme has lots of options, but it is tremendously ugly to work with on the backend. So many small, fiddly bits and plenty of difficult options to customize--for example, when using one of their demo themes, there is a button in the menu bar that is IMPOSSIBLE to remove, fonts aren't clearly labeled making them difficult to personalize, and the dialog boxes for making changes to any element are clunky and awkward. There are dozens and dozens of drag-and-drop editors that do what WPBakery-Page Builder does but MUCH BETTER, but Page Builder is required for this theme. The functionality of the theme looks great, but the interface on the backend using Page Builder is a real turn-off. Wish it had allowed another page building editor (like Beaver Builder, which is light and pretty and simple).

The theme itself is great and easy to use. The documentation has a lot of information but it would help if it were a little more elaborate for a beginner like myself. The ticket system doesn't work. We have been trying to contact support for a week to no avail. meanwhile Our users are able to access the back-end of our site from the user profile "dashboard" tab. the theme is great but customer support is non existant. I definitely would like a refund!

I just bought the VideoPro theme and had no problems installing but there are bugs in this theme that I can't seem to get support to help with. One problem is the posts. They don't post correctly and some content doesn't even show up. Some of the tutorials are insufficient to explain. For instance, I want to post a SoundCloud audio into a post and there are no instructions anywhere on how to do this. If I can't get the help I need, I would like a refund. I have bought other ThemeForest themes and the problem is always the same. Themes are full of bugs with insufficient instructions. I'm pretty tech and this is frustrating. I bought the DIVI theme with Elegant Themes and much more happy with them. I thought to try this VideoPro but seems it is overrated. Would like some help, please. I have submitted several support tickets which were so complicated to even get established. I'm guessing the builders of these themes are not from the USA. Please refund if you can't help. Thanks.

I am really happy after found this theme and see it's demo but i can't express my feelings after buying this theme and after see this quality. It's a great theme to make everything possible that you imagine in your mind and show them with this themes creativity. I will highly recommend you to use this theme for your website. But waiting for a extended and wide explorer at cactus ads plugin and waiting for more update in future. Their customer support is awesome and you can reach to them in you expecting time. Hope they will make this theme for user friendly and more unique for the short time of load in any internet speed. About the series section, need some more feature in this section. Just like in series if you create many section as movie, cn series, and kr series. Then if you go to update a new series then all the series shows in floating section but isn't it going to be great if you going to update a kr series then them will only show me the kr section. Then, about the series layout, if i want to add a page and if i try to choose the layout as series listing page then it's great feature to show the videos summery in a floating panel but there are no section to choose the targeted series, but if i update a series list with my category to show the targeted series then the list doesn't show any floating panel about the series, and in all section is series, need to rearrange the series with the number of alphabet just like a b c d...automatically.By the way, i will highly recommend you to use this theme for you project. There is some bug in updated version of theme. I just did an update and now I am not able to mark video for ‘Watch Later’ when I click on it nothing happens. Also, nothing happens when clicked on Turn off light option either.

Many of customization needs to be done by CSS and you need their support for it. Customer support 3 starts This theme supports only its own widgets, provided with the theme. If you are using another widgets, the layout of the text of these widgets will look different. They asking money to customize it. The support replays within 1 day. SEO Check their gtmetrix.com and see for yourself.Images:is resized in HTML or CSS from 636x358 to 228x128. Serving a scaled image could save 27.0KiB (87% reduction).I have contacted 2 times the support but after 3 week no response to this.I will update my review if it will be solved

While I did get some help for this product during my license period, many of the responses were only somewhat helpful and my license ran out before I got the site to run efficiently and correctly.Only after my support expired did I discover that one of its many plugins, videopro-unyson-backup-restore, was in the background making backups of the sample video files, filling up my server space, and making the site perform poorly. I switched hosting providers because I thought the hosting was causing poor performance. My new hosting provider explained to me that the unyson backup plugin had completely filled my server space, so they deleted the giant backup file that had been stored in my main site and my staging site.Also, buyers should be aware that this theme comes with a membership plugin that was released to the git and is no longer supported by its developer, WPMUDEV. I was in the middle of a support issue when WPMUDEV dropped support. The theme creator claims that Indeed Ultimate Membership Pro can be used instead, but last I checked, there is no (zero) documentation regarding how to set this up for use in VideoPro. For me, it was all guesswork.One good thing I can say about this theme is that it has lots of features and the resulting web page can look pretty good.

This theme is very buggy, broke our site and the documentation was extremely lacking. It also didn't include the video channel plugin so that option was not even available in dashboard even though all recommended plugins were installed, including the video plugin. Not at all user friendly. We just scrapped it and moved on.
